The health of our employees, residents and their families is our number one priority at Village at Mercy Creek. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) becomes more widespread, we acknowledge the importance in addressing concerns and questions as well as communicate actions that our organization is actively taking.
To the Franciscan Communities’ Residents and Family Members:
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have worked tirelessly to keep you informed about new confirmed COVID-19 cases with letters being sent to your personal email and posted to the Franciscan Facebook pages.
In an effort to streamline this communication, we have revised the format of the communication to a dashboard format that will show any new confirmed cases that have been identified at a campus. Additionally, we have added information relative to the availability of services on campus (such as communal dining, group activities, salon services, etc.) as well as the current visiting guidelines by level of care. Please know that any restrictions in place on the campus are mandated by the CDC, the Governor or the local health department. We will update these dashboards as guidance changes and services are resumed (hopefully soon).
Please know that even though communal services like dining and activities are currently very restricted in all levels of care, our dedicated and amazing staff are doing a fabulous job of providing services every single day to every resident. Their creativity is providing programming and delicious meals that are second to none.
As before, this new format will be delivered via email and posted to the appropriate Facebook page. We hope that this format will provide a more concise overview of the current status at each of our communities.
Thank you,
Judy Amiano
President and CEO
