Join us as presenter Marty Schreiber, author of “My Two Elaines: Learning, Coping and Surviving as an Alzheimer’s Caregiver” shares his journey with his high school sweetheart, Elaine. He details the emotional and practical challenges of being Elaine’s husband and caregiver as Alzheimer’s gradually took her away. The book offers thoughtful guidance on caring for someone with Alzheimer’s while prioritizing the caregiver’s own well-being. Through patience, resilience and a touch of humor, Marty discusses how love endures as he cares for his “second” Elaine.
