Our inclusive work environment
Diversity is one of our greatest strengths and, indeed, adds to the tapestry of our organization. We stand strong in our commitment and conviction to provide our associates with a uniquely supportive, healthy and safe environment to work in. This means not only helping them discover their potential, but also making their safety and the safety of our residents a top priority.
Your environment will allow you to strive and work at the highest levels of care and promote excellence throughout the Ministry.
Franciscan Ministries has always been committed to providing our associates with a supportive work environment where they can make a difference and discover their full potential. Now, more than ever, we’re driven by our core values of respect, dedication, stewardship and joy.
We are committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our associates.
Franciscan Ministries has joined the growing list of leading healthcare organizations, associations and other senior living operators who are requiring COVID-19 vaccinations among their associates. This requirement for COVID vaccine acceptance is in line with Franciscan’s values and the rule of Common Good and in the spirit of love and care for others. At the end of the day, it is still something that is mandatory, but the hope is that people are choosing to accept it as a way of caring for others. As the number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations start to increase again, particularly among unvaccinated and younger people, requiring our associates to be vaccinated against the virus is an extension of the commitment we have as a Ministry – to always put those we serve first. We all must do our part. We believe that being vaccinated is a requirement of being in service to others.

We are following Franciscan Ministries, CDC, CMS, state and local guidelines on preventing the spread of COVID-19, including:
We are proud to share that Franciscan Ministries has taken the important step of introducing vaccinations as a required and essential job function for all new and current associates. To continue protecting the health and safety of our communities, we expect all associates to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to applicable laws and Franciscan Ministries policies. This decision was made carefully with advice from medical leaders, ethics experts and public health officials to promote the safety of everyone in our communities.
Supporting Our Associate Heroes
Franciscan Ministries is taking extra steps to help promote the health and wellbeing of our team members, including:
As our associates provide personalized, compassionate care, we will continue to support them in every way possible as COVID-19 evolves. Franciscan Ministries’ remains prepared to keep our residents, families and associates safe, well-educated and informed with the most up-to-date and relevant information regarding COVID-19 and the Delta variant. It’s our belief that receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is the most effective method to control the spread of this deadly virus. In addition to providing the vaccine to our residents and associates, our infection control policies and procedures remain in practice and current with CDC guidelines as well as local and state health departments.
For those seeking additional information regarding the COVID-19 vaccination, including its effectiveness and safety, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has provided a valuable fact sheet regarding COVID-19 and its variants, explaining how viruses can mutate and spread.
