Santa Claus

JOIN US on the first Tuesday and the last Thursday of every month for a fascinating ninety-minute multimedia presentation by Presidential and Congressional award winning historian and public speaker Barry Bradford and US History Lecturer, Joyce Haworth.

Come and learn the fascinating history of Santa!

Who doesn’t love Santa Claus? Although Santa’s origins can be traced to a religious figure (Saint Nicholas) in Christian lore, over the years Santa Claus has morphed into a universally recognized symbol of kindness, charity, compassion and joy.

In this very unique and utterly fascinating multimedia presentation, we will trace how Santa has evolved over the centuries. We’ll look at how books, movies, advertising and music have shaped and changed and recreated Santa into the figure we recognize today. Only a Grinch or a Scrooge would not like this wonderful presentation!
