Storytellers Bob Sander and Debra Asante have collaborated on projects for over twenty years. Each of them represent different storytelling styles and traditions. For their show, Tapestry, they expertly weave together their diverse skills in order to construct vivid, exciting performances based on folk tales from around the globe.
Through well-chosen dramatic stories, movement, vocal inflections, and an ability to work together seamlessly, Bob and Debra have an unerring knack for connecting with their audiences. Their frequent use of audience participation ensures that everyone attending gets to be part of the weave that makes a Tapestry performance so memorable.
